Your ledger. Your control.

Delete your mCheckbook account or data

MCODE · hello@mcode.hr · Croatia

You do not need a paid subscription to request deletion. A cloud account is optional. If you have never created one, your ledger may exist only on your device.

In the app

Open Settings → Cloud backup. Sign in if needed, then choose Delete cloud account, enter your current password and confirm. This removes the Firebase login and its active backup snapshots. You can also delete an individual snapshot from the backup list. Your local ledger remains, and your store subscription is not cancelled.

For local records, use Settings → Delete local data. Check transaction trash and recovery copies; deleting the whole ledger clears those copies. Export anything you want to keep before deletion. The preview timing record is separate and is not reset by deleting the ledger.

Request without the app

Email hello@mcode.hr with subject mCheckbook deletion request. Identify the cloud-account email and whether you want the cloud account/backups and associated subscription-service data removed. Do not send your password or payment-card details. We will verify ownership using a proportionate process before deleting another person's data. If you purchased without a cloud account, mention that; we will explain how to identify the relevant subscription-service record securely.

The in-app cloud deletion does not itself erase RevenueCat's customer/purchase history. The email request path covers that associated service data. Apple/Google may retain store transaction records required by law. Firebase's authentication security logs and backup systems can retain limited data after active deletion; its published retention explains authentication IP logs of a few weeks and removal of other deleted authentication data from live and backup systems within 180 days. Exports shared to another destination are controlled by that destination and cannot be removed by mCheckbook.

Stop future subscription charges

Cancel separately in Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting data, the app or an account does not cancel a subscription. Reading/exporting your saved local data remains possible after paid access expires.
